Over the last 12 months we have seen some of the worse cases of neglect for many years - pictures far too graphic to show here.  As a rescue as we enter our 7th year and look forward to rehoming our 700th dog our aims remain the same - to provide shelter and care for these animals as well as finding new homes.  The task gets harder and funds get shorter as we are often taking dogs that are overlooked but our thanks go to all our supporters and volunteers who work so hard to make sure we can continue our mission.  The stories below give a little insight into our work and make the rollercoaster of rescue so worthwhile.

Esme arrive with us in January 2016 having been left tied up outside a police station.  It is impossible to show the size of the tumour she was carrying at the time.  Despite this she still had faith in the humans that transported her to safety and although hardly able to stand she could still wag her tail.  Months of love, care and good food together with the removal of her tumour and you saw a completely different dog.  Esme captured the heart of her carer who subsequently adopted her as well as our local vets where she is a confirmed favourite.

More dogs that captured our hearts and found their forever home during 2016/17
