The Great Catsby Cattery Terms & Conditions

  • ll owners will be required to sign these terms and conditions before their pet can be accepted at The Great Catsby Cattery
  • The owner warrants that their cat(s) being boarded are in a fit and healthy condition. It is your responsibility to inform us of any medical conditions your pet may have.
  • All cats must be up to date with their vaccinations, worming, tick and flea treatments and a copy of the vaccination booklet/proof of vaccination must be provided before the start of each boarding.
  • While every care will be given to pets, The Great Catsby Cattery will not be held responsible for any illness, injury, loss or damage to the cat(s) or their belongings during their stay. Boarding is entirely at the owner’s risk.
  • In the event of an emergency K9focus will seek veterinary attention for your cat(s) either from your own vet in the first instance or the closest available veterinary surgery. Any expenses incurred for veterinary treatment will be charged to the owner immediately by card payment.
  • If we find ticks on your pet, we will where possible remove them safely with tick removers. If we feel this cannot be achieved we will contact you or your emergency contact to discuss further treatment options with the assistance of a vet practice.
  •  You need to provide us with a minimum of one emergency contact for the duration of your pet stay. The emergency contact needs to be able to provide your pet with emergency accommodation should a situation arise where we are no longer able to keep them with us e.g. your pet doesn’t settle and becomes increasingly stressed or becomes ill and must be someone other than the owners.
  • Any bedding, toys, medication or personal items supplied by the owner that become damaged/destroyed by your cat(s) or member of staff during boarding are left at the owners own risk.
  • All reasonable efforts will be made to administer oral, rectal and topical medication and treatments as directed by the owner, for which there is no charge. However, if veterinary assistance is required it will be at the owners expense.
  • A minimum payment of 50% deposit is payable at the time of booking with full payment required 14 days prior to arrival. If payment is not received by this time the booking will automatically be cancelled and the deposit forfeited
  • Cancellation WITHIN 14 days prior to arrival or non-arrival will result in the full payment being forfeited
  • PAYMENT can be made by BACS Sort Code: 30-90-78, Account No: 19345968, PayPal: lynne@k9focus.co.uk or Cash (cheques are NOT accepted).
  • If you collect your cat before the confirmed end date you will not receive a refund
  • Cats collected after mid-day on the day of departure will incur an additional charge at the day care rate current at the time.
  • The Great Catsby Cattery reserve the right to charge a premium rate for peak periods such as Christmas, Easter, other Bank and school holidays. These will be publicised on our website.
  • Disclosure of any aggressive tendencies either towards humans and/or other animals must be made. If we feel that your pet poses a threat to our kennel staff then we reserve the right to refuse to board your animal.  Should your pet become aggressive towards staff during their stay your emergency contact may be required to give your pet emergency accommodation.  Customers or emergency contacts may be asked to remove difficult or dangerous pets from their housing units with immediate effect.
  • All customers must adhere to The Great Catsby Cattery opening hours as displayed on our website.
  • In the event of a delay in collection, notification must be given at the earliest opportunity. The Great Catsby Cattery reserves the right to refuse the extension in which case it will be the responsibility of the owner to make alternative arrangements.
  • There is free parking for drop off and collection of your pet. Please note that your pet is your responsibility until a member of staff has taken them from you.  All cats  arriving must be in an appropriate cat carrier and securely handed over to staff.  Customers are not permitted to enter the catteryl area.
  • Parking at the cattery  is at your own risk and The Great Catsby Cattery will not accept any responsibility for any damage caused to your vehicle.
  • Any owner wishing their pets to share a housing unit (same family only) do so at their own risk. Should we feel it necessary to separate the pets we will do so for the pet’s best interest and an additional fee may be applied.
  • The Great Catsby Cattery reserve the right to add, change or very these terms & conditions at any time, however you will be notified.
  • Photographs and digital recordings may be made of your pet for use in promotion both in print and on the internet (on such social media such as websites, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc) please advise if you do not agree to this. Owner details will not be disclosed.
